It represents a catalog of antique Russian icons painted in Palekh, Mstyora, Yaroslavl, and other famous iconographic regions of the Russian Empire. Each of the featured icons was studied, evaluated, and described by an expert team of art historians and museum specialists, including Sergey Khodorkovskiy whose contribution to the project is invaluable.
