The University of California, Irvine Extension, in conjunction with the University of Washington Educational Outreach, Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies and the University of British Columbia Continuing Studies, announces the offering of a unique, new fully online continuing education certificate program titled, “Decision Making for Climate Change.” Available this autumn, the four-course online program offers content from leaders in the study of climate change.
“This program represents an unparalleled opportunity for municipal, regional, state and federal officials, environmental planners and managers, corporate operations and utility managers and consultants in the sustainability field,” explains Kirwan Rockefeller, Ph.D., director of the Certificate Program in Sustainability Leadership at UC Irvine Extension. “Participants will benefit from the combined expertise and resources provided by the collaboration of these four prestigious North American universities conducting studies on climate change that can be implemented as practical skills into real-life scenarios.”
